The Junior Development programs at Cricket Albury-Wodonga (CAW) is designed to give every child the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy cricket.

in Cricket

For children just beginning their cricket journey,  entry-level programs such as Woolworths Cricket Blast introduce the basics in a fun and engaging way.

These programs focus on:

Building fundamental skills like batting, bowling and fielding.
Encouraging teamwork, communication and sportsmanship.
Making cricket fun and inclusive for boys and girls of all abilities.

Our goal is simple: create a safe, supportive and fun environment where young cricketers can thrive.

As juniors grow, they can transition into club-based junior competitions across the region. These competitions provide a step up in structure and competition, while still focusing on development.

Partnerships with schools also ensure that more kids are introduced to cricket at an early age, creating a smooth pathway into community clubs.

CAW offers specialised coaching programs and clinics to support skill development.

These provide:
