Graeme has been an integral part of cricket in Albury/Wodonga, spanning a period of 4 decades. He started as a player with Eskdale in 1968 and finally retired from all aspects of the game in 2010.
In that time, he has been a player, captain, coach, administrator, and curator. He played for Eskdale, SS&A and Tallangatta.
As a batsman he scored over 8 centuries, including:
- 106 against Tower
- 116 against Bandiana
- 123 against Belvoir
- 140 against Tallangatta, and
- 100 against Mid Gippsland at Country Week
Graeme’s best bowling performances were:
- 5 for 15 against North Albury in a Grand Final, including a Hat Trick.
- 6 for 35 against Bandiana, and
- 7 for 23 against New City.
Graeme also:
- ▪ Coached Tallangatta in the ABCA for 6 years
- ▪ was the WDCA Vice President for 5 years.
- ▪ was the Inaugural WDCA Junior President
- ▪ ABCA President for 2 years, and
- ▪ one of the best curators in Country Victoria
