Dr Kenna was born in 1878 and was a dentist in the Albury area. He played for 26 years from 1912 to 1937.
He was a right arm leg spin bowler who preached line and length and obviously followed his own advice. He took over 100 wickets in his first season.
His best bowling performances were:
- 3 for 123 against England
- 5 for 128 against New Zealand
- 4 for 101 against Western Australia
- 6 for 88 against St Kilda
- 6 for 54 against Collingwood
- 7 for 26 and 7 for 47 against Border, and
- 8 for 12 against Hume Weir

He also served as Association Vice President for 2 seasons
